Course
I have never played Mahjong. Can I start from zero?
Yes. Level 0 assumes no knowledge at all and begins with the 144 tiles.
What language are the lessons in?
Online lessons are available in both Chinese and English — you choose. More languages are coming. Physical classes are taught in English.
How long until I can actually play?
One hour to play a thirteen-tile hand. Three hours to play four full rounds — real Hong Kong Mahjong.
Which style of Mahjong do you teach?
Hong Kong Mahjong, three-fan minimum.
How much does it cost?
Level 0 and Level 1.1 are completely free with no sign-up. Free registration starts at Level 1.2.
Why must I finish a quiz and a game before the next lesson?
Because watching is not learning. The quiz checks you understood; the game makes you use it.
Can I learn on my phone?
Yes — phone, tablet or computer.
Do I have to register before I can try?
No. Level 0 and Level 1.1 are open to everyone and your progress is remembered on your device. Free registration starts at Level 1.2.
I started on my phone — can I continue on my computer?
Once you register, yes. Before that, progress stays on the device you started on.
