What we collect

The short answer: this website does not collect your personal data.

There is no sign-up, no account and no server storing anything about you. You do not need to give a name or an email address to watch the lessons, take the quizzes or play the games.

Your learning progress

Your lesson progress, badges and game records are stored in your own browser on your own device (technically, in local storage).

This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. It stays on your device. If you clear your browsing data, or use private browsing, it disappears.

If you would like to continue on another device, the free membership feature will make that possible. We will update this page when it does.

Videos

Lesson videos are hosted on YouTube and embedded using youtube-nocookie.com, which means YouTube does not place tracking cookies before you press play.

Once you press play, YouTube (Google) handles data according to their own privacy policy.

Email

If you email us, we use your address to reply, and we may keep the message on record. We do not sell or pass your email address to anyone else.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address only to send news about new lessons and events. You can reply "unsubscribe" at any time and we will remove you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to see, correct or delete any information we hold about you. Please email us if you would like to do so.
