Course content

Level 0 and Level 1.1 are free and open to everyone, with no sign-up. Further levels will follow.

The videos, text, images, quizzes and games on this site belong to Mahjong Academy. You are welcome to use them for your own learning, but please do not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

About Mahjong

We teach traditional Hong Kong Mahjong as a game of culture, strategy and company. We do not provide, encourage or take part in gambling of any kind.

Your progress

Your progress is stored in the browser on your own device. If you clear your browsing data, change device or use private browsing, it will be lost, and we cannot restore it for you.

Classes and events

Terms for in-person classes, social days and other events — including fees, refunds and photography — will be published when booking opens.

No guarantees

We do our best to keep the content accurate, but we cannot promise it is free of mistakes or that the site will always be available.

Mahjong rules vary between places and between tables. Before you play, it is always worth agreeing the rules with the people you are playing with.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
