Big 3 DragonsUK2026-09-04My mahjong journey began with a set of tiles left to me by my grandmother. The only problem was that no one around me knew how to play. Then one day, I met two friends from Hong Kong. What started as a casual conversation somehow led me into the world of mahjong. I never imagined that mahjong would become my No. 1 hobby — or that those two people would become two of my closest friends. I could always see how patient they were when teaching mahjong, and how much they genuinely loved the game. But I never expected them to create something as fun and thoughtful as Mahjong Academy. And finally, I don’t just want to thank the two friends who taught me. I also want to thank my grandmother, because without the mahjong set she left behind, I might never have started this journey.

Self-drawn in UKUnited Kingdom2026-09-04I never thought I’d be interested in learning mahjong. I only clicked the link because a friend shared it with me. I started playing the 4-tile game and found it really fun — especially because it was so easy to win! That made me curious and I wanted to find out how the full 13-tile game works. I’ve just finished Level 0 and Lesson 1.1, and now I’m really looking forward to the rest of the course being uploaded. Thanks for making mahjong so fun and easy to get into!
